We at Sweet Juliette Design Studio are working to make our site https://www.sjdesignstudios.com/ accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse and interact with the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved through the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating and through assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and magnification tools.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and aim to meet Level AA wherever reasonably possible. The site’s content has been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have:​

  • Set the language of the site and defined clear heading structures on all pages.​

  • Added alternative text to informative images and controls wherever feasible.​

  • Implemented color combinations that are intended to meet recommended contrast ratios.​

  • Structured content and forms to support keyboard navigation and focus indication.​

  • Reduced the use of automatic motion and timed content where possible.

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content 

Some content or functions on our site may rely on third‑party platforms or embedded services that we do not fully control (such as external booking tools, social media widgets, or video players). Where these elements do not yet meet the same level of accessibility as the rest of the site, we consider those specific parts to be in partial compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Accessibility arrangements in the organization 

Where services are provided in person (such as design consultations or fittings in New Delhi), we aim to communicate clearly in advance about access to the space, including stairs, lift access, and any available assistance. Visitors can contact us before an appointment to discuss individual accessibility needs or to request reasonable adjustments to the consultation format.
